Eucheria

This name derives from the Ancient Greek “eúkharis (εὔχᾰρῐς),” meaning “attractive, enticing, charming.” This name is composed of two elements: “eû ‎(εὖ)” (well) plus “kháris ‎(χάρις)” (beauty, elegance, charm, grace, gratitude, thanks, gratification, delight). The Eucharist “eukháristos (εὐχᾰìρῐστος) eukharistíā (εὐχᾰρῐστῐìᾱ)” is a Christian rite that is considered a sacrament in most churches, and as an ordinance in others. According to the New Testament, the ceremony was instituted by Jesus Christ during the Last Supper. He gave his disciples bread and wine during a Passover meal, Jesus commanded his disciples to “do this in memory of me” while referring to the bread as “my body” and the cup of wine as “the new covenant in my blood.” Eucharius of Trier was a German bishop considered the first in the diocese of Trier; he is venerated as a saint by the Catholic and Orthodox churches.
