Eadgifu was the daughter of Sigehelm, Ealdorman of Kent, who died at the Battle of the Holme in 902. 2) Eadgifu († after 955) was a daughter of Edward the Elder, King of Wessex and England, and his second wife Ælfflæd. She was born in Wessex. 3) Ealdgȳð the Fair (c. 1025–1086) was the first wife of King Harold Godwinson.
