In Greek mythology, a Charis is one of the Charites (Greek: Χάριτες) or “Graces,” goddesses of charm, beauty, nature, human creativity, and fertility; and in Homer’s Iliad, Charis is the wife of Hephaestus. Charis is also the Spartan name of a Grace.
