Boedil (Bodil) Turgotsdotter († 1103) was a medieval Danish queen, queen consort of King Eric I of Denmark. Bodil was the daughter of the Danish Earl Thrugot Fagerskind and Thorgunna and the sister of Svend Thrugotsen. The Bodil Awards are the major Danish film awards given by Denmark’s National Association of Film Critics (Danish: Filmmedarbejderforeningen). Established in 1948, it is one of the oldest film awards in Europe.
