Gloriana was the name given by the 16th-century poet Edmund Spenser to his character representing Queen Elizabeth I in his poem The Faerie Queene. Gloria, Princess of Thurn and Taxis (born 1960) is a member, by marriage, of the German princely House of Thurn und Taxis.
